C. Jere mid-century wall sculpture
C. JERE BRASS WALL SCULPTURE | $1,095
Large-scale wall sculpture from C. Jere (Curtis Jere) features a classic mid-century motif: tall ships in a harbor. Made of brass and copper, this large but delicate piece has two large sailboats as the central focus, with a village and harbor buildings at either edge. Signed but not dated, but sources suggest that this piece is from the late 1960s or early 1970s. Has dual hooks for hanging or sits solidly on a shelf. DIMENSIONS: 54-3/8″L x 5″D x 21″H.

WITCO carved wood tortoise
WITCO CARVED WOOD TORTOISE | $495
Detailed wood carving from WITCO (Western International Trading Company), that had its heyday in the 1960s-1970s and the height of tiki-style decor popularity. With a shallow bowl on the top, this piece can serve as a display or a cradle for fruit. Carved from cryptomeria japonica wood from the cypress family. DIMENSIONS: 16-1/2″L x 6-3/4″W x 7-3/4″H.

Don Freedman fiber art wall hanging
LARGE SCALE DON FREEDMAN FIBER ART WALL HANGING | $695
Vintage modern fiber art from Don Freedman, who came to prominence in the 1970s and 1980s with his complex, mixed fiber woven creations. This large piece is made primarily with jute and shows a date of 1981. Freedman’s signature appears on a wood button sewn into the lower right corner.
