MidModMen+friends is reviving its occasional showcase of local and regional creative talent with “Future Heirlooms: From Funky Flowers to Futuristic Homes.”
The in-store exhibition features original acrylic paintings and watercolors by St. Paul artist Ann Sisel, whose art ranges from distinctive interpretations of nature and architecture to pure abstraction.
“As an art plein painter, I use all my senses [because] the emotional connection is very real,” she explains. “My goal is to create art that is unique, gutsy and colorful.”
