Ink drawings by Kathy Anscomb

These intricate ink on canvas drawings were inspired by the indoors-looking-out experience and day-after-day repetition that Anscomb has experienced in a time of pandemic.Anscomb is a Duluth-based artist who exhibits in Minnesota and Wisconsin galleries, including Lizzard’s Art Gallery in Duluth. She received her B.S. degree in Art from the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a focus on abstract painting. She studied alongside Freddy Munoz, a celebrated painter whose works are featured in the Walker Art Center.
