KENT COFFEY PERSPECTA CHINA HUTCH | $795 Substantial china hutch with architectural presence from furniture maker Kent Coffey’s Perspecta line. This piece has a walnut cabinet with sculpted rosewood cabinet handles. We added brand new 1/4″ tempered glass shelves inside the hutch. Dimensions are 51-1/2″L x 16″D x 72″H.
72″ WALNUT CREDENZA BY JASPER | $995 This walnut Jasper Office Furniture credenza is all business front, back and sides. But it has a party element to it with a sleek design. The versatile storage includes a big double cabinet and open shelf on the right. On the left are two standard drawers and an extra-roomy file drawer. The top is cantilevered over the cabinet on three sides and includes a removable glass topper. Drawer and door pulls are original, and the cabinet has walnut paneling on all four sides. That means you can use this to divide an area. Dimensions are 72″L x 21″D x 29-1/4″H.
1964 McGUIRE FURNITURE CHESTS | $395 EACH All that’s mid-century is not Scandinavian modern, and these two-door chests are proof. Made by McGuire Furniture (San Francisco) in 1964 and finished in lacquered orange, these pieces exude an elegant California casual style. The cabinets are solid wood and the leg frames are stout and sturdy bamboo. Drawer handles are solid brass, and the drawers themselves are generously sized. Perfect as nightstands, at the foot of a bed, in an entry or anywhere you want a pop of color. Dimensions are 33-1/2″L x 18-7/8″D x 23″H. Priced and available individually.
DREXEL DECLARATION ROUND COFFEE TABLE | $795 This impressive rounded coffee table was designed by Stewart MacDougall and Kipp Stewart as part of the Declaration series for Drexel Heritage. Made of natural walnut with nine rosewood dot inlays in the center. It’s freshly restored and in top condition. Dimensions are 44-1/4″ diameter x 15-1/4″ high.

The shell is off-white and in excellent condition with the exception of a single scar. The base and shock mounts are original, too, and also in excellent condition. This chair is a piece of design history.
CLASSIC MODERN ARC LAMP | $595 This Robert Sonneman-style arc floor lamp is a touchstone for modern style. Minimal yet dramatic. Artistic yet practical. The slim chrome arm is anchored in a weighted base with black casing. At the end is a two-piece silver orb that houses a single bulb. Dimensions are 86″ high x 66″ arc span.
HANS WEGNER INSPIRED ROCKING CHAIR | $345 Hans Wegner was a design force and influence throughout the middle of the 20th Century, and inspired admiring copycats in places as unlikely as Yugoslavia. This Wegner-style rocking chair is almost iconic in its own right. It has a solid wood frame and woven paper cord seat in back (in nearly mint condition). Luckily, the Yugoslavs made chairs better than they made cars.
TEAK DOUBLE CREDENZA-SIDEBOARD | $745 Danish modern teak credenza-sideboard with double cabinets and three generous drawers. The cabinet is suspended between two side panels and has double sliding doors for access to storage. Each compartment is large and open, with adjustable (or removable) shelves. PAUL McCOBB FOR CALVIN GROUP CHEST + VANITY SET | $1,895 Exceptional and rare three-piece walnut set designed by Paul McCobb and made by the Calvin Group. The set includes two four-drawer chests – one wider than the other – and a vanity section that bridges the two. The vanity has a lift up top with mirror, a front panel that folds down, and wood dividers inside. We refinished this piece to reveal the richly figured walnut and gave it a smooth touch. Included are the original brushed metal accents and drawer handles. OVERALL dimensions are 85-1/8″L x 18″D x 34-1/4″H. SMALL CHEST length is 24-3/4″. LARGE CHEST length is 36″. VANITY length is 24″.
MADE IN MINNESOTA: DANISH STYLE LOUNGE CHAIR | $695 Danish style lounge chair designed and made in Minnesota by a local artisan. The frame is solid African mahogany with a deep walnut finish. KROEHLER HIGH BACK LOUNGER IN MAHARAM FABRIC | $995 Here’s a mid-century makeover the way it should be done: with top-quality materials and period-aware style. We reimagined this vintage Kroehler chair with all new upholstery. The choice was Maharam Mode in vibrant blue (Crush) fabric. It has a hopsack weave with the look and feel of wool, and it’s made from 80 percent post-consumer recycled materials for sustainable appeal. The color complements the walnut on the arm caps, back trim and legs.
DILLINGHAM ‘ESPRIT’ TRIPLE DRESSER | $1,195 Dillingham tapped designer Merton Gershun to create its Esprit line of furniture, characterized in the line’s promotional brochure as an example of “classic simplicity and refined good taste.” Made of American walnut with black accents and white lacquered internal drawer fronts. Fully restored with a multi-layer walnut oil finish. Dimensions are 72″L x 19″D x 30″H.

BROYHILL SCULPTRA QUEEN HEADBOARD + NIGHTSTAND The 1960s Sculptra line from Broyhill Furniture was the demure counterpoint to the showier Brasilia line, but it was no wallflower. The concentric square design and rich walnut finish are quietly commanding and sophisticated.

POUL HUNDEVAD TEAK SERVING CART | $895 This clever mid-century teak cart spreads its wings to create an impressive platform for your dinner or cocktail party. Designed by Poul Hundevad circa 1960 and made in Denmark by Vamdrup Mobelfabrik. It has three tray-style shelves with flared edges. The bottom two are removable and you can add one to the top tray, which slides aside to accommodate its companion. The cart rolls smoothly on four original casters. We’ve rejuvenated this versatile trolley with a full cleaning and fresh coats of teak oil. Dimensions are 29-1/2″L x 20-1/4″D x 26″H. With the extra shelf added on top, the length reaches 59″.
DANISH TEAK TWO-TIER SERVING CART | $395 This serving cart is compact, lightweight but still packed with style. The top and lower levels are tray-like with upward curving edges. And the distance between them leaves ample space for tall items. It all rolls smoothly on brass and hard rubber caster. Danish Furniture Control stamp is embossed underneath. BROYHILL SAGA SERIES DESK | $795 Fully restored walnut desk from Broyhill Furniture’s Saga series, one of the maker’s Premier lines from the 1960s. The design is distinctive, with a gently bowed desk front that flairs to rounded corners. The original drawer handles taper to points on each end. And the desk is finished on all sides, so it looks good at any angle. There are three standard drawers on the left, a center drawer, and another standard drawer plus file drawer on the right. We have restored the desk to capture its original finish. Dimensions are 50-1/2″L x 22-1/4″D x 30″H.
WRITING DESK BY FOUNDERS FURNITURE | $695 Handsome and compact writing desk from Founders Furniture. Slim profile and shorter depth, which makes it perfect for smaller spaces. Features two generous utility drawers and asymmetrical cubby holes beneath a stepped top. Fully restored walnut with a contrasting white writing surface. Dimensions are 42″L x 22″D x 29-1/4″H.
SWEDISH MODERN TEAK ROLLTOP DESK | $795 Stylish and compact teak rolltop desk made in Sweden decades ago yet somehow anticipating the perfect work surface for a laptop or tablet. The hard cylinder bonnet has teak veneer inlays and glides up to reveal the work area. Included are five open cubbies and three utility drawers. The top pulls out to expand the work surface (and glides back in when not needed). Below are three full-sized drawers, one of which locks with a skeleton key. Made by American of Martinsville in an updated Streamline Moderne style and freshly restored. Features six extra-generous drawers. DREXEL PACER TALL CHEST OF DRAWERS | $595 Mid-century tall chest of drawers with materials, build quality and unique styling that make it a cut above many of its contemporaries. Drexel is known for quality, but the Pacer line is less common to find. The cabinet and drawers are rich walnut in excellent condition with a fresh rejuvenation. CONANT BALL MODERNMATES DRESSER + MIRROR | $795 Leslie Diamond designed an extensive line of solid birch furniture for Conant Ball. The Modernmates line was launched in the late 1950s and was fashioned as a modular collection, with many pieces that could be reconfigured as needs changed.
We have several Modernmates pieces available now and being rejuvenated. Shown is a six-drawer dresser with a large companion mirror (it can be used as shown or hung independently). Dresser dimensions are 48″L x 20″D x 32″H. Mirror dimensions are 41-3/4″L x 2-12″D x 33-3/4″H.

MID-CENTURY FLEXSTEEL LOUNGE CHAIRS | $795 EACH These swoopy vintage modern Flexsteel chairs are part Jetsons and part Donna Reed. The Jetsons feel is in the shape, with wing-like arms and a dramatic tapered upsweep to the headrest. Donna Reed gets her due with the muted pale blue fabric with a soft hand feel. The turned walnut legs add more sophisticated style. There are two chairs available.
RESTORED MID-CENTURY CLUB CHAIRS | $975 EACH An investment in professional upholstery is only as good as the frame beneath the beauty. We chose these mid-century vintage chair frames for a new life because of their quality and uncommon design. The chair bodies are fully upholstered and rest on exposed wood bases. For fabric we selected a woven pistachio green with threads of opalescent white. Button tufting on the square backrest pillows add simple detail. The solid wood bases with round tapered legs and stretchers are fully restored. There are two chairs available.
RESTORED & REIMAGINED CUBE CHAIR | $395 We gave this compact, walnut framed cube chair a green makeover. Not just green colored upholstery, but green as in ecologically minded. The chair, of course, is a rescue from decades of use. We cleaned and restored the walnut frame with an oil finish. Another green move was using remnants of high-quality fabric that might have otherwise been scrapped. The outside panels are wool while the seat and back are a commercial grade fabric. Chair dimensions are 23-3/4″W x 26-1/2″D x 30″H.
CONTOURED MID-CENTURY LOUNGE CHAIR | $695 This chair started and lived its long life upholstered in white vinyl. Nothing to be ashamed of – except that it was under-dressed all that time. We fully restored the frame to reveal beautiful wood grain and gave it a walnut finish. For the contoured seat, we choose a woven fabric in ivory with subtle threads of black. This chair is now all dressed up and ready for its second round in life.
RESTORED & RESTYLED OVER-SIZED OTTOMAN | $575 We can’t resist a great makeover, especially when the bones of what we’re working with are rock solid. This vintage ottoman came from high-end maker Tomlinson Furniture. It has a solid wood frame with x-shaped stretchers, and its undergone a complete restoration. The cushion has a coil spring core and is reupholstered in a stylized floral pattern. The fabric is woven with shades of blue and taupe. This versatile piece can be used to rest your feet, as extra seating or as an upholstered coffee table. Dimensions are 28″W x 18″H.
ROYAL METAL MFG. ‘ROYALCHROME’ SOFA | $595 This Royalchrome steel tube frame was made by Royal Metal Manufacturing Co., with a design dating to the streamline movement of the 1930s-1940s. It has a chrome-plated steel frame and features a backward arching continuous sweep. The frame is in excellent structural condition: strong and without distortion. The finish is exceptional for its age. The coil spring seat cushions are firm and wrapped in a dense fiber. The seat backs use the same dense material. The cushion covers are a durable cotton duck fabric in black with white piping. Dimensions are 69-1/2L x 39″D x 33″H.
FRESHLY REVIVED DANISH-STYLE LOUNGE CHAIR | $445 Sitting down can be fun when the chair you choose is this lively. We restored this mid-century, wood-frame lounge chair by refinishing the frame and making new cushions with a burst of retro pop art design.

HERMAN MILLER FIBERGLASS CHAIR – ZENITH ROPE EDGE | $995 Early production molded fiberglass arm chair designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller. This chair features the original rope edge production technique. Mounted on a four-point, swiveling, wheeled base. Shell, shock mounts and base are in excellent condition.

MOREDDI (DENMARK) TEAK COFFEE TABLE | $895 Made in Denmark by Moreddi circa 1960s, this teak coffee table has an uncluttered profile with subtle details. Design flourishes include a raised edge on all sides that peak at the corners and dip toward the centers (in the style of Peter Lovig Nielsen). Clear maker’s mark on the table’s underside. Freshly rejuvenated with a teak oil finish. Dimensions are 32″W x 17-1/4″ to the highest tip of the edging.
NIELS BACH SOLID TEAK ACCENT TABLE | $465 Solid teak (no veneer) accent table from Niels Bach circa 1960s with a 1-1/2″ thick top characteristic of this line. The oiled finish on this piece gives it a deep, rich color. Dimensions are 17-1/4″W x 27-1/4″D x 20″H.
ADRIAN PEARSALL FOR CRAFT ASSOCIATES ACCENT TABLE | $395 Calling a table designed by Adrian Pearsall “sculptural” is redundant because all of his designs evoked fine sculpture in their lines, proportions and use of materials. This three-point table has a solid walnut base (restored) and original triangular 3/8″ glass top. Dimensions are 23-1/2″W x 26-1/2″D x 19″H.
ADRIAN PEARSALL FOR CRAFT ASSOCIATES 1924 T24 TABLE | $395 This classic Adrian Pearsall accent table – the 1924 T24 – is another example of the sculptural approach to his Craft Associates creations. Solid walnut base topped with the original round 3/8″ glass top. Dimensions are 24″ diameter x 21-3/4″H.
LANE ‘SILHOUETTE’ ACCENT TABLES | $225 EACH Lane Furniture combined Italian modern design and organic sculpture as influences for its Silhouette line of tables in the 1960s. Using walnut frames and glass tops, the tables have an uncluttered presence. These compact round tables can be combined as a modular coffee table or used alone as accent pieces. The frames are freshly restored and glass is a light black-gray. Dimensions are 21″ in diameter x 14-3/4″ tall.

VINTAGE LE KLINT FOLDED PENDANT SHADES | $300 EACH SHADE Vintage pendant shades created and made by Le Klint of Denmark ( https://www.leklint.com/en-GB/About-LE-KLINT/History.aspx) with designs that date to the 1940s. These folded paper shades are simple and intricate at the same time. These vintage pieces are in excellent condition with only very minor signs of wear. The buff color is uniform on the outsides. Each includes original extra-long cords with sockets and plugs.

HAND TURNED SOLID WOOD FLOOR LAMP | $595 Sensuous tall floor lamp made of solid Afromosia (a hardwood with characteristics similar to teak), hand turned with a teardrop bottom. The wood portion is freshly restored and we added a new, textured fabric lampshade. Height to the top of the brass finial is 65″.
AFFILIATED CRAFTSMEN STUDIO POTTERY LAMP | $395 Hand-thrown and hand-decorated pottery lamp from Affiliated Craftsmen, the renowned California studio founded by Bob Kinzie. This lamp has an impressed stamp near the base that confirms it as an Affiliated Craftsmen piece and also dates it to the early 1970s. Stands 31″ high to the top of the shade.
MID-CENTURY FIGURAL LAMPS | $395 PAIR Cool modern interiors don’t have to be devoid of personal style. Mix it up with authentic mid-century Asian figural lamps. Glazed porcelain in soft jade green, saturated gold and black. There is minor finish rubbing at the bases, but that’s a testament to their age. Newer drum shades in ivory with soft jade accents. Three-way sockets and clean wiring. Ornamental brass finial. Dimensions are 31″ to the finial tops x 12″ diameter shades. Sold as a pair.
GEORGE NELSON DESIGNED PENDULUM CLOCK | $895 Chrome-framed floor-standing clock that is the very definition of late mid-century modern style. Designed by icon George Nelson and made by Howard Miller, it features Nelson’s signature clock hands and face. The clock’s works are visible through a smoke-tinted Lucite panel. This is a weight-driven clock that chimes each hour and on the half hour. Professionally serviced. Dimensions are 13″W x 2-1/2″D (case only) x 9″D (at base) x 56″H.
C. JERE WALL SCULPTURE – VILLAGE + HARBOR | $695 Colorful and detailed metal wall sculpture from C. Jere depicts a village and harbor with boats and seagulls. It’s classic late-period Jere circa 1971. Signed and in excellent condition, with all elements of the sculpture intact. Dimensions are 42-1/2″W x 3-1/2″D x 30″H.
ORIGINAL OIL PAINTING – LUCIA STERN | $895 Original oil painting attributed to Lucia Stern, a highly regarded artist based in Milwaukee. Stern was best known for her work in mixed media, but she also left behind a diverse collection of paintings, three-dimensional art and sculpture. This painting of two horses is on stretched and framed canvas. Overall dimensions are 33″W x 41″H.
BRONZE ‘BIJAN’ WALL SCULPTURE | $245 Vintage wall sculpture depicts three quails in tall grass. Made of bronze with perfect verdigris patina. This piece is signed “Bijan.” Hangs from two sturdy metal hoops on the back. Dimensions are 35″L x 4″D x 12″H.

GEORGE KOVACS WHITE TULIP TORCHEIRE | $1,000 Tall, slender floor lamp designed by Ernst Luthiger, made in Switzerland and offered in the United States by George Kovacs. The design of the lamp dates to 1965. It’s made of power-coated steel and has an external, pad-style control switch. In excellent condition. Measures 65″ high with an 11″ diameter footprint.

ALVAR AALTO MODEL 401 EASY CHAIRS | $1,295 EACH Designed by Alvar Aalto (Finland) in 1932, these chairs are a modernist take on the classic wingback, with a slightly canted back for relaxing. The slender wings were designed to minimize visual distractions while lounging. The chairs we’re offering were made in Finland by Artek, and are stamped and numbered. The frames are steam bent beech and the upholstery is deep red wool. The frames and upholstery are in excellent condition.

The gentle contours of these chairs make them distinctive enough, but it’s the pivoting backrests that add an element of surprise.
