Lane Copenhagen coffee + step tables circa 1956-1957

Lane introduced the Copenhagen furniture line in 1956 or 1957 – different sources give conflicting dates. It was said to be the company’s first major modern furniture line effort with the intent of capturing the growing popularity of Danish style furniture.

They did an admiral job while retaining a distinctiveness of their own. The line features organic shapes and wood tones, unique joinery and sculpted brass ferules on the legs.

What price would I expect to get for a coffee table and two step tables purchased around 1960?

    1. We haven’t had a Copenhagen piece in our collection for several years, so we’re not sure what prices they command. Factors that determine pricing are condition, geography (where you’re selling it) and the type of piece. We recommend checking eBay completed listings to see what prices sellers there are getting.
